Thought of the Week
There are plenty of things to worry about in life. But very few are the things that we can effectively influence. Let’s then filter out the worries that aren't in our scope of control, and focus on the few things that are: such as the Universal Reason (Logos). Which asks in our nature two main things:
- Rationality: We are given the power of reason and judgment – the ability to think, assess impressions, and choose our actions based on principles rather than instinct.
- Sociality: We are designed to live in harmony with others, cooperate, and contribute to the common good of the community (the cosmopolis).

In the awareness of this, we should let go of the things we cannot control, giving ourselves the opportunity to do the things that we can control better.
